Watch: The “pink tax” is secretly costing women thousands — and not just at the drug store

Yooooooooooo

Women pay more for products. Men pay more for clothing.

Do men really pay more for clothes?

Yea, seriously. Shirts, sneakers, jeans, socks…etc. Ask your male friends how much they pay for a pair of descent jeans. It’ll blow your mind.

At least their pants have fucking pockets tho

Men pay more for clothing.”

Are you sure?

Are you

(Walmart)

ABSOLUTELY SURE??

BECAUSE I’M NOT ENTIRELY CONVINCED

LIKE AT ALL

THAT MEN HAVE IT HARDER

(Victoria’s Secret)

image

OH AND SHOULD I BRING UP PANTIES WHILE I’M AT IT? I am a firm believer of the “fuck you, I’ll wear briefs that don’t give me a wedgie, I don’t care if they’re not sexy” policy, but a lot of women are expected to wear panties and thongs because GASP WOMEN MUST BE BEAUTIFUL AT ALL TIMES. Here’s a screenshot of some Victoria’s secret panties!

image

Wow. It’s almost as if there’s a pattern here.

Women are expected to buy more clothing, and literally all of it is more expensive, so fuck all of you.

*HAMMERS THE REBLOG BUTTON*

Fucking infuriating.
And, NO ONE pays more for clothes than fat women. Tired of it.

Have you ever stepped on a Torrid? $50-$80 for a blouse.

^^^^^

Yup it totally gets more costly when you’re not model thin.

Woah

I’m here to confirm the fat girl comment…. decent fitting, CUTE plus size shit is just expensive as fuck.

You look me in the eye and tell me this isn’t important

That jaguar is so tall compared to the ocelot. So cute!

@oreo-pie

I need to know if these cats are being sold into the the pet trade or not

Nope! These little kitties are from black jaguar white tiger foundation, a big cat rescue and sanctuary, and the man in the video is Eduardo Serio. He regularly gets orphaned cubs and cubs rescued from the pet trade, when the zoos don’t have enough room. He doesn’t normally socialize with them like this but the margay and jaguar cubs here had already imprinted on humans and can no longer survive in the wild, so he’s been raising them

OHHHHHH CUTIES….

What’s really shitty about being a creator on public platforms is that people want your content for free but they’re not willing to give it any exposure to help you grow. Art, graphics, any type of work that you do, people will repost and steal, usually getting more attention on it than the OP because if it’s the internet it’s free game right? The likes to shares ratio will always be laughable (1,000 likes to 150 reblogs, you know the deal), and the way people are brazen about asking for free work – “omg can you draw/make this?” – never stops being a kick in the teeth. If you like something, consider actually showing it and sharing it, or even commissioning the artist/creator for more. We’re not saying you’re obligated to throw money at us, or to share every single thing you appreciate, but to simply stop for a second and do a bit more to support the creators you like instead of taking them for granted and in some cases, spitting on them and their efforts entirely. Thank you.

To commemorate the violence against LGBTQ members, Pride Shield created a bulletproof rainbow flag. The thematic installation is made up 193 pride flags, one for every country in the world. When positioned together, they defy bullets, which aims to encourage the importance of togetherness. She took up acting because the malnutrition she suffered under the nazis permanently damaged her health and prevented her from pursuing her dream to be a ballerina. During the war, she danced to raise money for the resistance – even though she was literally starving, she used what strength she had to make sure more nazis got shot.

She and her mom also denounced their royal heritage because of the Nazis in their family

Also Audrey was a humanitarian until her death, though ill with cancer, she continued her work for UNICEF, travelling to Somalia, Kenya, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, France and the United States.

These are things I literally never would have known about. I’m tired of women being painted as just being pretty.

I’M SO HAPPY TO SEE HER AT AN OLDER AGE I SWEAR!

There are still good people in this world. If you can’t find one be one.

I don’t usually reblog things like this…but I found this entire post to be so uplifting.

“There’s good in this world, and it’s worth fighting for.”

guys at my university I have a part time job where my sole responsibility is filling up the piano humidifaction systems with water

I literally am a piano waterer & tbh I kinda feel like I’m thriving

I feel like I need to add that I carry around this water jug that kinda looks like a regular watering can and when people ask me what I’m doing I just say “watering the pianos” and walk away
