does SAREK know how to ride a bicycle??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sarek rides a bicycle to the Vulcan Embassy on Earth every morning when he’s in San Francisco. Amanda sometimes hitches a ride behind him and he’s ridiculously pleased by this fact.

Hitches a ride how? Because sitting behind him on the bike and using a jumprope to attach a skateboard to the bike are two different things and I’d prefer the latter.

Okay but lets imagine both of those things;

(1) A young Amanda, arms wrapped around a young Sarek’s middle, feet on the pegs as Sarek pedals them around San Fransisco toward their first date. Sarek is glad that Amanda doesn’t see the blush on his face when she rests her head against his back, just in between his shoulder blades.

(2)

A young Amanda wearing knee and elbow pads and a helmet, insisting that she’ll be fine as Sarek secures the robe to the pole beneath the seat of the bike. They start off slow, Amanda steady on a long board and she tells Sarek to speed up.

Amanda laughing as Sarek tends to the scrape on her chin on the curb outside of their first date destination after a failed attempt of slowing down. Sarek tries to be stern, but Amanda just pecks his cheek and takes him inside. Sarek is in a daze. Life is good.

Pfft! She rides a motorbike like a pro and Sarek is the one who hangs on for dear life sitting behind her clutching her, yelling about her stunts being illogical. Jim and she bond immediately on the topic of bikes when they first meet.
