The true question in Norse mythology shouldn’t be whether it was Loki or Angrboda that gave birth to the Midgard Serpent.
The question is whether it’s viviparous or came from an egg and everyone in the Iron Wood knows them as the “Weird Egg Couple” and when Angrboda goes to some witch-meeting she’s just got that egg with her and every time Loki has “buisness” (pranks and mischief and chaos) to attend to in Asgard he’s got the egg with him in one of those baby slings and everyone is like: “What’s with the egg?” (although they can already guess the answer) and Loki is like: “Which egg I don’t see an egg and certainly not one containing seed of destruction that might bring about the end of this world?
