Don’t you guys have repair shops???? Like I once got an almost brand new galaxy S4 with a cracked screen and I just took it to a mall store and they were like “give us a week” and they got me a new screen and everything, that’s not a thing for you all???
She was one of the first volunteers to come to the cave. She worked to cook meals and provide rest for the soldiers and divers trying to get to the boys.
She has 5 acres of land where she farms rice all on her own since her husband died and she left it shortly after planting to go and give what she could to the rescue effort. She returned home a week later to find her fields flooded by the water being pumped out of the cave system.
From what the article says, it doesn’t seem to have destroyed all her (and almost a dozen other farmers) crops but it was a good portion of them.
This woman is wonderful. She could have seen this as a “no good deed goes unpunished” but she just laughed it off and said it was worth it to save those boys.

I want to assure you that as a BLACK man living in America, I understand precisely how you must be feeling right about now. Your head must be spinning out of control.

People get caught committing crimes against innocent, unarmed Black folks over and over and over – and sometimes it’s even on tape. And just when you think you’ve got the perpetrator red handed; with the proverbial smoking gun, on film …… absolutely nothing happens.
Dear white people: Republicans are the YOU of politics. They will look the other way, and equivocate for Donald Trump faster than you can say All Lives Matter.
Trust, nobody in America wants Trump to go down harder than black people and other NBPoC. If you’re waiting on the “good” Republicans to take action before they’ve retired from office—isn’t it weird how they grow something resembling a conscience AFTER they’re no longer in office—if you’re waiting for the “good” Republicans stand up and take decisive action to stop Trump, boy oh boy have I got some monumentally bad news for you.
My advice? As a black person who has seen this movie before? Don’t wait for Robert Mueller to ride in and save the day. Mueller could have high def video with surround sound of Trump doing cocaine as he’s killing puppies and swearing allegiance to Putin in the Oval Office, but as long as Republicans control congress, n-o-t-h-i-n-g will happen to him. I repeat: Republicans will TALK a good game, but they will protect Trump, to protect a regressive Supreme Court.
You gotta do all the boring stuff that isn’t sexy or glamorous. Organize. Get people registered to vote. Call your Senators. And vote in November. The ONLY thing that is guaranteed to end this nightmare is to vote Republicans out of office in November.
